This 5/8" x 1800' smooth black polyester strapping is wound on a 16x3" core and engineered for medium- to heavy-duty bundling and load securing. Each coil delivers 1,800 feet of continuous strapping, extending run time between changeovers on semi-automatic or manual equipment configured for 16x3" core dimensions.
Polyester strapping is a reliable choice for loads that shift or compress during transit — the material absorbs impact and maintains tension as contents settle, reducing strap slack without snapping. Applications include palletized goods in manufacturing, brick and block in construction supply, and bundled components in distribution and freight operations.
The smooth finish is compatible with serrated or sandpaper friction weld seals on standard strapping tools. Polyester construction is non-corrosive and approximately 80% lighter than comparable steel strapping. Each coil weighs approximately 19.36 lbs; cases contain 2 coils and ship via parcel carrier.
